On Friday, Canon has launched its EOS R which is the first full-frame mirrorless camera in India. The company has held an event in New Delhi to launch this camera. The camera has got a price tag Rs 1,89,950 which comes with the EOS R Kit. This kit includes RF24-105mm f/4l IS USM Lens. This will get the price tag of Rs 2,78.945.

This all new full-frame Mirrorless camera will be the sale in the India market starting from mid-October, as per company announcement. Apart from this, Canon has also launched the four new RF lenses. Out of the four, two lenses are super-telephoto EF lenses, and one is Prime EF-M lens. With this new EOS R, there are four types of RF mount adapters which have been introduced to complete the EOS R features.

According to the Yoshiyuki Mizoguchi, who is Group Executive of the ICB Products Group of Canon said that they are one of the global leaders when it comes to the imaging space. The company has always kept the innovation as the front-runner that enables the technology to complement the art of the photography. The company has given about 30 years of legendary EOS ecosystem to the photographers as well as filmmakers for the benchmark in the high-quality imagery.

It has been seen that EOS R has got some impressive specifications. One can get about 30.3 MP full-frame CMOS sensor in the camera. Canon’s DIGIC 8 image processor has got massive 5,665 selectable AF points. The ISO range of the camera has got the range starting from 100- 40,000 and they are expandable too. It can able to burst shoot which can go up to 8fps along with the company’s famed Dual Pixel AF system which is too supported in it.

The other features that the EOS R has got are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity which can able to transfer the images directly to the smartphone as they can able to shot. You can also record the video at about 4K at 30 fps with the support of the Canon’s C-Log Profile.

Mizoguchi added by saying that with this many useful new features like the new RF format along with the advanced dual Pixel CMOS AF as well as the 4K ultra high definition, the designed is seemed to be complementing as well as it can expand the creative horizons of the users.
