Microsoft Launches New Surfaces PCs and Headphones

In the recent development, Microsoft has unveiled a bunch of Surface computing devices at the October 2018 event by the company. The new devices that the company has unveiled include the Surface Pro 6, Surface Studio 2, Surface Laptop 2, and Surface Headphones as well as Surface All Access subscription service.

All these things from the company show that Microsoft has fired the shots in the battle which is expected to see Apple in its events to unveil some new iPad updates along with some refreshed MacBook Air. The date for the launch event is not confirmed, but by the end of the year, these things from Apple will be unveiled. This also shows that the commitment towards making their PCs. Microsoft has also announced some more updates for Windows 10 as well as Office 365.

The company’s first thing is the all-new Surface Pro 6. It is convertible 2 in 1 device in the Surface Line-up which has been updated to run the 8th generation Intel Core i5 or even Core i7 processors. These are said to be the latest chips in which the Microsoft can get their hands at this time.  The company too says that Surface Pro 6 is 1.5 times faster than variant Surface Pro 5.

The Surface Pro 6 will be getting an all-black- color finish. These devices had retained a dash silver color. The battery in the Surface Pro 6 will provide about 13.5-hour mark on the single charge. The price tag of this may be around $899 onwards.

The company has next updated its Surface Laptop 2. The processor in the laptop is said toe upgraded which will be now running on 8th generation Intel Core i5 as well as Intel Core i7 chips. The laptop will now be available in matte black color. The company has also redesigned the thermal management system which has done by passive cooling option. The price of this may starts from $999 for the entry-level variant.

The company is going to bring the Surface Headphones which have got the capability to active noise cancellation as well as touch controls on one of the earcups. Inside the ear cup, it has got a 40mm audio driver as well as two beamforming microphones. The headphones may get a price tag of $349. The next one is Surface Studio 2 which is a professional computing device. The device has now recalibrated to give more accurate color reproduction. This may get a price tag of 43,500.
