I the recent findings by the NASA and ROSCOSMOS have said to be detected the recent reason for the failure of the MS-SOYUZ spacecraft.

In a statement, it is said that this might be the collision of the elements which has occurred during the separation of the Soyuz rocket’s first and second stages. This might the primary cause of the failure of the booster in the rocket, as said by the space agency. The failure in the rocket booster has forced the astronauts on board to abort the launch mission, and after that, they initiated the emergency landing procedure.

According to Sergei Krikalev, who is the Executive Director for the Manned Flights at ROSCOSMOS, said that until now there is now the final version. But it seems that there is a primary cause which is understandable and too related to the collision of the side element that is making the part of the first stage. He said this in a statement to the TASS news agency on 12th October.

He added by saying that this collision may have occurred when the separation of the first stage and second stages are going on.

The Soyuz-MS 10 has been launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome that is present in Kazakhstan. The mission was to go to the International Space Station or ISS. The launch was taken place at 4:04 AM on 11th October.

In the spacecraft, two astronauts are present on board. These two astronauts are US astronaut Nick Hague and Russian Cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin. After the spacecraft has developed the snag, they have to go for the emergency landing.

As per NASA, it said in a statement that there was an issue with the booster of the rocket. The crew has returned to the Earth in a ballistic descent mode which has taken some sharp angle of descent as compared with the normal descent path.

Krikalev said in a statement that, this deviation is said to be from the standard trajectory occurred as well as they are placed in the lower part of the second stage disintegration. The rocket was seemed to be stopped from the normal flight and after which the automatic system has done its work. It is said that an element of booster has collided with the second stage.

This is the primary reason for the failure of the rocket but till now this is the primary reason, and a detail investigation is on the way.
