The Finnish Smartphone manufacturer, The HMD Global, who is behind the brand Nokia, launched its Nokia 6.1 Plus edition in India on 21st August. The brand is launching the top features like notch screen along with dual camera mode on its primary camera and optimum glass design for the first time through Android One. The Smartphone has been priced at Rs. 15,999 which is a little cheaper than its predecessor the Nokia 6.1. Looking at the predecessor, the 6.1 Plus is capable of offering better hardware, optimum design, larger screen, and better camera modules.
The Smartphone flaunts a 5.8-inch display along with a notch-based screen that is stretched in a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The screen sports a gorilla glass three that helps in protecting from accidental scratches. Although the glass doesn’t belong to the corning’s newest collection, it still can protect the screen from day to day damage from small scratches from coins, keys, and pointed items. The Smartphone has camera features to die for. It has a 16MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensing lens and a 16MP front camera. The Smartphone is excellent on daylight imaging but a little disappointing on low light areas and faces problems in fixing focus and capturing details.
The Smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It has got an expandable memory of up to 400GB micro SD card slot included. The Smartphone boots android Oreo and as it adheres to the Android one Smartphone; it will soon be updated to Android Pie. The customers will get a sleek user interface, and the phone shows zero sign of lagging or slowing down. The Smartphone can manage numerous apps opened and working on the background without force closing because of an excellent RAM optimization.
Browsing the internet, watching HD videos for hours, accessing social media platforms, making calls, and messages, etc. can be handled easily on this Smartphone without accidental stoppage or closing. However, the processor certainly slows down a bit while playing games, video editing, video recording, playback, etc. other than that; the Smartphone is the best phone that is available in the market at such an affordable price.
No matter what, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is among the most balanced budget smartphones available in the month of July-August. It has all the features that you have been looking for in the midrange smartphones and a user-interface coupled with the dual camera is something to look for.
