Sony PlayStation Brings The Update To PS2 and PS4

It has been seen that PlayStation Now, which is Sony’s subscription service for all kinds of streaming older games, is now going to start letting you download games. This feature will put it more with the line of Xbox Game Pass as well as Nintendo’s recently launched Switch Online NES library.

In a statement that was posted at the blog of PlayStation, it has revealed that the starting now, the subscribers of PS Now can able to download the games to most of the PS4 as well as to PS2 games. These games are said to currently present in the PS now library as well as they will play them locally or even offline. It is almost all types of  PS4 games that are in the service, which includes Bloodborne, God of War 3 Remastered, Until Dawn and NBA 2k16. These games will be available for download which will come in addition to the PS Now Lineup of classic PS2 games which have been remastered for PS4. This feature will be gradually rolled out to the PS Now subscribers which will be over the next couple of days.

The next thing that is good for the users are when they are playing games; they need not be connected to the internet to play PS Now games which were once downloaded. The support page says that the system will have to go online in every few days so that it can validate the PS Now subscriptions.

Till now it is not clear, but it is said that PS Now library will be including a lot of games which is said to be worth revisiting. The games might be XCOM 2 or Gravity Rush Remastered or even Rogue Galaxy for the PS2. At the same time, it is said that the majority of the PS2 games are said to be currently playable on PS4 which are not even included in PS Now. So, for this reason, it is believed that Sony will be starting to build up the library in the coming days.

The first leak about this updates has appeared in June which is basically about the Microsoft’s Game Pass which has been doing since it was launched during the last year. The monthly subscriptions program will let you chose from the hundred plus games which include in the catalogs, and you can download them too.
