The main motive behind the launch of this device is the latest hardware that is available at the time. The company is now planning to launch this new OnePlus 6T in October. As per some of the reports, the company may launch the device in the Indian market on 17th October 2018.
In the newly released teaser from the company, it shows that the phone will get an on-screen fingerprint technology. This will help the user to unlock the phone by tapping on the display. As per the OnePlus teaser, it said that a key innovation is lying beneath the surface. The phone too looks to be much slimmer phone with a near bezel-less display.
Apart from this in-screen fingerprint sensor, the all-new OnePlus 6T is said to become with new screen design. This new technology will be introduced by the company with water drop notch that is replacing the old boat-shaped notch. OnePlus 6T is also said to be having a high screen to body ratio than the predecessor.
The next big update is OnePlus 6T will not be having the 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will rely on USB Type-C as well as Bluetooth for the audio experience. This removal of the audio jack will be allowing the company to add new technology which includes the large battery. This announcement comes in a considerable amount of this outrage which is on social media from the customers after the company has removed the audio jack.
It is also said that OnePlus 6T will also be coming with some improvements in the battery as well as camera departments. The phone will be getting a 3,700 mAh battery. The current OnePlus 6 is having a 3,300 mAh battery.
As per some reports, it is said that the OnePlus 6T will be getting a price more than that of OnePlus 6. The main reason for the increase in the pricing of the new smartphones is due to the weak Rs in comparison to the US Dollar.
